Christine Ödlund works across an expanding range of media; drawing, painting, installation, video, sound and more recently, ceramics. Her methodical approach to her practice could be described as artistic verging on the scientific and vice versa, striving to straddle the boundaries between both disciplines as she examines and explores the metaphysical properties of natural phonomenon.

This interview, which took place in her studio in Stockholm in February 2017, covers the development of her work from its early roots in photography through to studying electro-acoustic composition at the Electronic Music Studio Stockholm where she initiated a personal curiosity in theosophy, synesthesia and the possibilities inherent within the comprehension of the 4th dimension, all of which have gone on to influence her work significantly.
